Project Description

Pradeep is an Environmental Epidemiologist and Principal Scientist with Venebio Group, LLC.

He is a versatile scientist with a specialty in environmental and exposure assessment projects in the public health arena and the broad application of biostatistics.

Pradeep has extenstive experience in exposure assessment, epidemiological study design and analysis, and environmental policy development, specializing in assessing health impacts related to environmental exposures.

Earlier in his career, Pradeep conducted industrial hygiene investigations on textile workers in south India and microwave popcorn workers in the US. His doctoral research focused on evaluating the association between lead exposure and neurobehavioral function, and the potential modifying influence of a genetic polymorphism on this association.

Following the completion of his doctorate Pradeep worked as a research coordinator at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene on diverse public health initatives that ranged from an investigation of fatalities in the NYC construction industry to analyzing lead-based paint hazards in day cares. Following the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Pradeep worked as an epidemiologist at the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards. While at the EPA Pradeep co-authored policy assessment documents for mutiple National Ambient Air Quality Standards reviews and utilized his expertise on human biomarkers of exposure to review science assessment documents for the Office Research and Development.

Pradeep received his ScD and ScM in Environmental Health from Harvard University, and his BS in Chemistry from the College of William and Mary.
