Halle Amick, MSPH
Practice Lead, Public Health Research
Halle has more than fifteen years of experience in the public health research field, with significant expertise in medical writing. She is a systematic literature review specialist trained in consistent, rigorous, and transparent methods used by professional organizations around the world.
Halle has held positions with the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars program at UNC, the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, the Veterans’ Affairs MOVE program, and the Research Triangle Institute-University of North Carolina Evidence-based Practice Center (EPC)—one of 14 EPCs sponsored by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).
Halle’s work has been published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, the British Medical Journal, the Annals of Internal Medicine, the Journal of Primary Care and Community Health, and Pharmacogenomics, among others. She co-authored the 2008 Medical Care and Research Review “Best Article of the Year.”
Halle received her BFA in Film and Video Production from the Rochester Institute of Technology and her MSPH from UNC-Chapel Hill.
