Rachael Posey, MSLS

Practice Lead, Information Science and Bibliometrics

Rachael is an information professional and specialist in systematic review methods and evidence evaluation with nine years of experience in finding, organizing, and evaluating health and healthcare information. Her research interests include evaluating, improving, and streamlining literature review and searching methods.

Previously, Rachael served as the Associate Director of the William Rand Kenan, Jr. Library of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University and the Pharmacy Liaison and Systematic Review Services Coordinator at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her training in systematic review methods while working as a librarian and research analyst for the UNC-RTI and Duke University Evidence-based Practice Centers.

Rachael has participated in dozens of systematic review and bibliometric analysis projects and has co-authored twelve systematic reviews in topics across the health and social sciences. She has led workshops, classes, and continuing education courses on conducting systematic reviews and finding and evaluating evidence for professionals and students in the health sciences and information sciences.

Rachael earned her M.S. in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her B.A. in English from Duke University.
